so lately i have a strange noise coming from the engine when it is cold and when i accelerate slightly. what could it be?

Hard to tell, it somewhat sound lika a minifold/gasket leak or the worst, shot shells...

the engine runs fine, no other problem whatsoever, oil pressure is fine.

I have encountered a similar noise/situation...it turned out to be just a slightly loose plug.

Shells = Bearings. I thought it sounded like a leak of some sort =) Great news !

bought new nuts and washers, after 3 weeks back on the road

...and bought an a4 funk button i will hook up to the hi speed rad fan, so i will be able to start it @ stuck in traffic, @ climbing mountains and @ track days
