it was a happy day at da scrappy

got the klimaxob for the klimatronic with all the harness. all the other parts will be easy to find.

as the harness was complete, i removed just the wiring of the klimatronic, under dash harness on top and engine bay harness on bottom. the klimatronic harness has the ATA harness attached too



the flaps are bare naked, i will have to dismantle te klimabox and glue some new foam on, but hey, i got everything here for 30€, i cant complain

Skull, what model and year of car did you remove this from? You got a lot of parts for your 30€. What other parts do you need to complete the klimatronic system?

this came from an avant b4 2.0E year 1992. i need the ecu (got one at home from an audi 100 c4), than i need the ac hoses, compressor, bracket and radiator. the good thing is that everything in the engine bay is the same as for the manual AC, so the toughest part to get is the klimabox and harness.

Thanks, so the hard part is over, well aprt from retrofitting everything into the Compi.
Do you mind documenting this as you go? This is something I would consider doing myself.

Do you know if the klima from an A4 TDi uses all the same parts? Or how about the system from and A100/A6 C4? We never saw klima in the UK thats why I ask.

i have done this before. it is a PITA job but, the miss is gonna love ya

connecting all the klimatronic wires to the existing harness is a nightmare, every thing else is a bolt on job, time consuming, but straight.

i really dont know about the A4 thing, but forget about the C4 thing, the box is everything is very very different.
