Hello Sküll! You mentioned that you used Audi A4 B5 rear shocks from Bilstein that where for shorter springs so they lifted your rear end. Do you have the exact part number of those shocks?

As far as I can see from the Bilstein catalogue there are 2 types of rear quattro shocks for the A4 - 24-062121 and 24-026215. The first one is in the same as the 80 Quattro Competition one. It's used according to the catalogue from MY 07.2000, so it's in the last B5s.

I guess you used the second part number, which was used before 07.2000, the first B5s. Can you confirm this? I want exactly the one that's for shorter spring, so I can lift my rear end a bit. Thanks!

Hmm, OK, thanks 6214 was the part number for the front Koni shocks that I'm currently using. Will have to find a show which is willing to open new rear shocks for B4 and B5 and compare visually Thanks!

Ahaaa! They are S4 rear shocks, maybe that's why there's a difference in spring height!

OK, apparently I was going through Bilstein B6, not B8, that's why I didn't find that exact shock... If I go with it instead of the original Competition rear shocks the rear end will go up according to your experience, am I right?

when i was buying, the b4 quattro avant didnt had its own set of b8, but there was only the a4 b8 available. nowadays it looks like everything is available.

                      so:

buy a4 B5 quattro rear bilstein B8 dampers, and it will lift the car by 2cm.
