Yeah, quite so, of course, my temperatures were with stock k24 and it was brought quite to it's limits and therefore made quite hot air. With better turbo (that is more on map) you should be able to get something like 340hp yes.

Just an observation: You came asking for advice and you are ignoring it. People are strongly suggesting an RS2 EM or Wagner RS2 EVO EM and you are ignoring them. People are suggesting that the GT2871 is a better turbo than what you were thinking and you are ignoring their advice.
If you want 340 hp ("gain just a little bit of power, 100 to 150 hp" (over 230 DIN)) then you will need the EM and the recommended turbo (or the KKK K24 7200) or something larger, e.g. GT3071. I would also strongly suggest that you will want a FMIC instead of the stock one. There is a FMIC DIY at:
Good luck. Hope you choose to take the advice.
Oh, yeah, I doubt that you really need any ARP headbolts, etc. BUT you will definitely need remapping, e.g. MRC or Paul at Homefries, etc.RS2'd 93 UrS4 5 spd sedan

That's a good DIY but expect even less room with Urs4 front bumper. I have started to fit my cooler (70mm) but i'm not sure if it will fit with aircon. You can move the radiator like 2cm back. Or bye a new front bumper, the RS4 look a like to gain more room. Now quattro less, my urs4 stolen 13.8Comment

That DIY was done on an UrS6 but there isn't much if any difference between the structure of the UrS4 and UrS6 bumpers other than the outward cosmetics (AFAIK).
However, my direct experience is with North American bumpers which are structurally the same between UrS4 and UrS6. In our case, we can keep the Air Con condensor and have a thicker core (another 12 mm (1/2")) because the bumper sticks out, away from the body about 25 mm more that the Euro bumpers.RS2'd 93 UrS4 5 spd sedan

No I didn't ignore anybodies advice, and I'm quite thankful for everything said here. the wagner EM is on the list and for the GT28rs if there is no big problem with it i would prefer it for the quick spool up and because i don't want to go for pure power. It has to be an good an "economical" daily driver.
I'm really sorry i did not want to offend anybody
Thanks guysRCNComment

what is to expect from a GT28rs in HP an NM?
and what from a GT2871?
with wagner EM, new Intercooler and remapping done by a master in the art of electronics.... of course

With both you can break your conrods, so torque is infact quite up to you, how close to 500Nm "border" do you want to go.
With 2871 you can go say 1,5 bar from 3000 to 6500rpm, and get nice flat torque curve just under 500Nm and close or over 400hp.
With disco-potato you can strech to 400hp border, but then you might need some headwork with rest of suggested pieces

Do I have to use a compression dropping headgasket with one of those to comfortably reach let's say 350 hp and keep it working on the long run?
I updated/modified the list
-I'll keep disco-potato (034 kit) for the fast spool up
-wagner EM
-Fmic (hope to find an easier to fit solution)
-Headgasket?
-If we run less than 1.5 bar do i need the the modified vmap pressure sensor and an other WG spring
-RS2 injectors
-silicone hoses
-034 bypass valve
-and finally remappingRCNComment

There is in fact a big difference in the structure between the Euro S4 and S6 bumpers. The strengthening bar on the S4 is a large box section so there really is no room behind for an intercooler.'93 S4 Avant now back on the road complete with new shiny go faster bits.Comment

so won't be that easy.
is there any aftermarket bumper that could make the fmic problem a little bit easier?RCNComment
