How is this embedded into the hydrolic circuit? Do you use the same rear calipers connected to this parking brake lever, or do you use a seperate parking brake caliper?
I used the same rear brake calipers for the hand brake & the brakes. The hydraulic circuit that goes to the back brakes pass through the hand brake.
Interesting. I thought about that solution some time back as well, but I could not find the right components to design it and I was a bit worried about the possibility you would press also oil back into the the main pressure regulator in the engine compartment.
Do you have more specific details, like what kind of components did you use to make this solution please?
Nothing special, I cut the line & made fittings from the line to the handbrake & from the handbrake back to the line. I supported the handbrake on it's original place as best as I can to make it look decent & for it to be strong & easy to use. If I remember correctly, it comes with instructions. Maybe this can help you:
i arriwed from nurburgring on this morning in one piece.
we had some races on german highway with porsches, ferraris, but only one guy pushed the gas with me. the car was a new audi r8 v10. i was so stupid idiot, why i racing before the ring. he came right after me until 280 km/h. i pushed a bit more up to 300km/h,(7300rpm/2.1bar boost) he was behind me 300-400meters, when i lost all my boost pressure.
i thinked maybe kicked one of my intercooler hose. i checked at the gas station. all the hoses in the right place. i started the car, i realized the turbo broken.
i tryed to figure out at the guesthouse, how can we drive home without help.
