yes, it is. dont worry about it. i know you afraid about lag. forget it. install.
its will be good for 25years.

its can be normal, if your car maped near to surge line. we ussualy maping on 4th gear. if i doing WOT on 4th gear without surge, its will be surging,if you do the same in 6th. if you map the car 1,5-1.8bar with the same setup, no way to surge.

OK, that could make sense, as my GT3071R setup is mapped only for 1.7 bar on the lower RPM numbers. Good info Aron. tnx

Ehm.... well my car does not surge in 5th or 6th gear doing WOT at lower RPM, so I am not sure if it is 'normal' what you describe on your setup. I never experience surge to be hounest with my car

i actually have to have around 0.75 from 6000rpm to 7500rpm if the boost is around 1.75 to 1.8bar

is this turbo a GT3076R or the 2876R?

what is your lamda on those high rpm?

i allways keep the lambda under 0.8 on high boost and high rpm. i mean i allways keep it under 0.8
i run with standard pistons now. i have to save them.
i have lambda program. if i dont push the throttle more than 30%, its try to compensate to 0.97

Aron, what is your lamda setting after 5500rpm?

no. if you watch again, its 5th gear. surging because i push the gas pedal full and i hold the brake pedal with my left foot to build some boost before i run. if you see, when its surging first, the rpm tacho not mooving. if i drive normal, its not surging.
i dont think the oil temp is high. never goes more than 95celsius.
