ALternatively stiglet is breaking a 20v so i could prob get a diff off that?
Thanks for the info on vacuum pressure, even having as much as -0.5 bar would open up many options for the check valve.

And a very interesting point about the PAS pumps. i will be sure to buy a V6 one when i need a new one.

i got around the power steering pump issue by removing the valves for the secondary pump inside, effectively rendering it useless. Then just blocked off the hose connections.

I remember finding an unused coonection somewhere on the old 20v manifold for the vacuum assist. Will see if i can find it.

Any chance of a bid war for the rear diff? Joking, it is deffo spoken for.

I sold the S2 PAS pump otherwise i would have done eactly that. lol

THe bracket i made holds it pretty nicely so should work fine.

Looks like i need a diff though. Testicles! i though i was nearly finished lol!!!

But lets be honest if anything is difficult its probably worth doing.

btw, are we sure the 10v diffs are the differant? i know they are still 4.11, and have trhe same casing. isnt it just the input flange that is different to accept the smaller CV, so can he not take the flange off the avant or a flange of someone, cant be that hard to find, and swap them? be quite a bit cheeper and easyer.....

as for the PAS, stop being a whimp and just take it off....who needs pas but seriously, have you considered mr2 electric pump?? i'm sure it wouldn't cost to much.

I dont need to swap any input flanges if my CQ diff is 4.11 as ive already got it all bolted up, As i used the rear half of my CQ prop. If i know the diff is right then im ready to roll. Is there any way i can find out the ratio of me CQ diff?? Either physically of from any reliable documentation?

On the bottom of the diff there should be a three digit code stamped on it "APX" for example. Post it on here and some one will be able to look in the family album. From memory coupe quattro's are 4.11. I think only the ur's used 3.9's

Excellent that sounds like a plan, ill slide under the car tonight if i can and find out the code from the Diff.
