Finally got round to stripping the car today what a bloody nightmare Pretty much every nut/bolt was seized or needs replacing the subframes are in terrible condition im hoping they are reusable.
So all the parts are ready for blasting and coating which hopefully will be sorted in the next few weeks, once this is sorted i can repeat the whole process in reverse! got a pile of fixings to replace, any reccomendations for good quality nuts and bolts are welcome, also test fitted some wheels recommended to me by a friend in the tuning buisness, i think they looked great so ive ordered a set calliper clearance was perfect and they are also very light 18/8.5,et30, the interior is off to the trimmers on monday so hopfully this should all start coming together soon...
Thanks to aelred once again for your help and knowledge.

They are definatly staying white the pictures dont do it justice it offsets with the kingfisher blue really well, im toying with repainting the calipers red i think red on white will be better than yellow on white, red also goes better with blue i think.

Personally I think calipers should always be black....

What are those wheels by the way - and what weight are they ?

I like black calipers aswell but i think subtle splashes of colour can really enhance the look of things, unless you are hand painting your vauxhaul nova calipers!

Wow, your parts collection looks impressive! And did I already say your new garden shed (garage) looks cosy as well

Good luck completing your project and I look forward to the end results. Any pics of your cylinderhead after Aelred worked on it?

Looking good and glad your getting some progress made after people have held you up, did you do any seam welding to the rear wishbones before you had them powdercoated/sprayed?

@ Bram i have got several pics of the engine i shall upload them later i am expecting the completed article in a couple of days.

@Acidburn all four wishbones are seam welded and both subframes although i may replace the rear subframe as it had to be patched in 2 places.
