It will be fine for you, but for how long?
it was running perfectly true my friend??

it has to be ready for hold a lot of torque

but i am not worried if it is nice, because 01A boxes are pretty the same

anyway AXM box is the natural evolution of the ASZ....just the same box,but a little stronger more or less like the 6 speed CGR with CRB

What box is going in next?

i got one 01A ASZ...from one forum member...and in theory " good working condition"

i dont want to spend money rebuilding that gearbox.... if not,i would like to know a place where to buy stronger syncros for our gearboxes and make it few to few myself.

my Spec Stage 3+ clutch.... has around 20000kms or maybe a little more, i think that it should be good enough, and of course it is still running perfecty holding all

ok,after 9 months, my gearbox is broken

it was a 01A ASZ box, that since the first moment i installed it, it had very damaged "sincro"?¿ . the one that uses the first and second gearing. anyway it was fun, because the gearbox was working fine always after the first gear, but today a WOT with second gear was enough for it. i was really scared in the moment, because the noise was BIG¡¡ i was thinking, OMG it sounds like a driveshaft or something like this complete destroyed...and i was in the motorway...and i cant stop there¡¡

but after some seconds i saw that i can continue using the car...and make more WOT in 4th and 5th gears ,perfectly. but now i can´t gear the second one, and the gearbox makes all the time a weird noise whem driving the car.

this is complete normal, because this syncro was very damaged since the moment i installed it. but no problem at all.... i got another one from one forum friend, and he said that it was perfectly working without syncro noises.

now i have to drive 100km more to my home ,tomorrow... i will have to use the Radio with high volumem to have a quiet travel without noises

    at the moment :

    RS2 Turbo
Engine is only with Rod sputter bearings from KS, cylinder head is with metal head gasket from PK Motorsport, that drops compression ratio to 8.8:1 ( but my cylinder head was skimed 2 at least 2 times.... so the compression ratio shoul be little higher.
ah¡ and all torqued a lot with some ARP head bolts as Peter Kowatsch suggested me.

and the cylinder head has the intake holes ported and polished "by myself" it took me around 6 hours of work

    clutch is SPec stage 3+ , 3B flywheel , 01A ASZ Gearbox ....

i was braking to much and she was scared in the end of the main straigh

i was braking from 220km/h every time with awesome brake confort and perfornamce. this was my mine place where to pass the cars because i can brake as the last cars in the last meters and the RS2 turbo torque is very good for climb in the track hills it was like if the time was stoped.... like in the Matrix movie and my cur still running while the others stoped

For seats for me the best are RS2 Recaro, you can find these and then change the colour.

Alessio, the wheels are 8X19 ET35 OZ Superturismo, with 235/35/19 tyres ,fits perfect without any spacers, only needs larguer bolts
