helloo at all
after destroyed and holed my ex-cylinder head ,while i will runing my spare 3b engine with all the specs as you can saw here, i want to do step to step a "stroker" engine.
Well... i would know that if someone know wich engine code it´s better for compelte the "stroker" :
- AAT motorblock ,115hp can be??
- AEL motorblock , 140 hp maybe??
both are 5 cylinder 2.5 tdi true??
later...just after bought the TDI block i will want to buy a cylinder head in decent condition ,but now i am not sure if it´s the best source go to our "adu,aby,3b" cylinder heads OR go to for the "cheaper" and some different 7A Head....because sometimes some people with great engine projects used it
like always, all helps and suggestions will be very apreciated.
and of course i will read the different "stroker" projects here in s2forum for learn more

AAT , Ok Jamo
and then i will need the complete block and i am thinking about the stock AAT crankshaft and it´s conecting rods + rod bearings
will be good and enough strong for work with 400hp max,and of course the TDI blocks are much stronger than Fuel blocks true?? normally it works with more engine compression
thank you Jamo
,i will read again your stroker project again.....it will be the 3th time sure

76mm turbo straight turbo back

as i´ve promised
here you can see the pictures of my 76mm downpipe + home made straight exhaust sistem
only we had saved the rear silencer and stock rear diameter exhaust
the downpipe was from Sweden thanks to Jonas

the downpipe dont fit perfect with the wagner RS2 EVO EM + k24 7200.... because it touch the "subframe" an then me and my friend we had cut the downpipe head and weld it again in a diferent position
no it fits perfect¡¡

Hello guys i have news for January
and they are not so good...
the last week i´ve changed my fuel pump for mount the original RS2 fuel pump and i´ve changed too the injectors the original dark green RS2 ones to the newers and biggers "apple" green injectors.
ah¡¡ the new RS2 fuel pump it´s conected directly to the battery with one wire + other fuel pump relay for reach 13´8 -14V and not 12V
now the car go very strong and fast BUT whem i reach around 6000rpm or more sometimes the engine fail.
after one day of small test with this setup i´ve installed the "Innovatec motorsport wideband" that i´ve bought around 3 weeks ago.
today i´ve tested the car with the wideband and it hapend the same as i was thinking
now i am going very rich surelly . whem go in FULL thorttle and bosting hard (2.0bar) the wideband meassures are between 9´5 / 10´2
and i am shotting fuel in the exhaust
whem i go around "0" bar preassure cruising the wide band show me between 13´5/ 14´0 that it´s not too bad true???
maybe this is JUST my problem whem i go some time under full thorttle reaching 6000rpm with my k24 7200...
the wide band it´s very fast and exactly ¡¡ it´s a very usefull thing that ALL with a some tuned engine needs.
i have to say that other problem maybe it´s my 7A 4bar FPR.... because 4bar FPR + 440cc/3bar injectors + RS2 fuel pump with 13´8V... IT´S a lot of fuel for my current setup and of course sure my ECU it´s not remaped well for this setup...
TOMORROW mourning i will change my 7A FPR for mount again the 3b FPR.... may with this fuel pressure my car will go some rich of fuel mixture but not more than with 7A fpr...
7a FPR it´s sure the best option for 3b cars with RS2 parts setup but NOT if you decide to change without remap changing the dark greens to the "apple" greens...
i hope that it can be usefull for someone here with similar setups ,dont try to do it without a good ECU remap
PD: my car it´s a complete missile/rocket at 2.0 bar but only going to 6000rpm MAX
see you

Thats WAY too rich at full throttle... Look for AFR in low 12s or high 11s at full throttle.
In steady cruise, you should see AFR around 14.7
I think those injectors are too big without a custom remap... Or you could go back to 3B FPR... By getting an adjustable one you might get a fairly driveable balance before custom mapping.
A remapped RS2 turbo will do just fine of RS2 injectors - the dark green ones. True the larger ones give more headroom but on the RS2 turbo with 4bar FPR I don't think you need them.Paul Nugent

tomorow i will know if these bigger injectors works better with the original 3b FPR...
OK my goal at full thorttle will be between 11´5/12´5
very good to know coming from a homefrie S2 tuner like you Sir
and after all,if my 3b FPR dont reach to the best mixture number i will start to think in :
- Buy an adjustable FPR for test more options
- buy a genuine RS2 dark green injectors because my other greens are selled and i want first hand new injectors not used
- or finally take the same as i have and look for a great chip S2 chip-tuner who can make me a personal remap for my parts and change my max boost profile...2.0bar in 4ª and 5ª gear it´s too much ,i want other setup more reliable 1.7
bar in 3ª/4ª and 5ª gear will be enough
PD: i am runing with stock wastegate spring it´s important remember it

bad luck today again friends
this mourning i´ve changed my 7A 4bar FPR for install my original 3B FPR that it is 3´2bar
??
Ok and after the change i ´ve tested the car and WTF
now the AFR under full thorttle is between 8´9 / 9´3
it´s just more rich in fuel with less pressure in the rail... YESTERDAY with the 4bar FPR the wideband show me numbers between 9´5 / 10´2
I DONT UNDERSTAND NOTHING¡¡

aniway for the moment the car run perfect like a rocket again BUT.... it´s all very extrange
may the ECU needs some time/kms to reset and learn that it is working with less fuel pressure...
i don´t know what i need to do now...
may new RS2 injectors or a custom remap for work with my biggers ones

You should know, that several people in germany did the same mistake: 4 bar 7a
is too much for original map, the 3B too less:
The original RS2 has 3,8 bar! and works only with the orig.inj. with orig o remapped Ecu-maps,explication:
As Paul suggested before, you can´t change the injectors and the fuel pressure without new mapping!
maybe you don´t know, but when you are remapping, one of the first things to do, is
entering the size of the injectors in map, (i hope Paul conforms that, i´ve learned this
in a course in Germany ), so its no wonder that you can change the fuel presion regulators like you want, its always not in the parameters of your ECU.
And I´m still not shure, that a wideband- lambda works with the orig.ECU in perfect condition- i guess, more better working with a aftermarket ECU like Adaptronic for example.

i NEED NOW a custom remap for work with my bigger injectors because for the future these injectors can be valid for other turbo upgrade
options??

hello friends
today after the weekend i´ve drove 200kms with my car and girlfriend and going too rich my AFR as my wideband shows i´ve discovered that NOW my car eats less fuel going only cruising with noone time under full thorttle
before my car eats always going between 140/160km/h in the speedo numbers like 12liters/100kms and this weekend just after change my RS2 injectors to the "apple" green biggers ones eated 9,5liters/100kms. the wideband cruisin shows 13´8 / 14,2...
it´s all very extrange....and i can´t go under full thorttle because wideband show 8´9 / 9´3...and it is too dangerous for the oil and the car dont work nothing fine.... cruising goes well
anyone know what kind of extrange thing is it?? LESS fuel eated per 100km going rich in AFR... may the too big injectors have something to say....
PD: i have to say that the 95% of the kms was in hightway ALWAYS betwen 140/160km/h in speedo... 9´5 liter / 100kms .... i´ve never do this numbers with the S2
