ah¡¡ forgot it, now the car looks to iddle PERFECTLY ¡¡

so the iddling problems were the leaks for sure¡¡

well...we have tried 2 different ECU and 400kpa maps, different coils and the same...

BUT, we were talking now thinking about the OLD leaks in the intake system and manifold ....

so we have mapped the car with lots of small leaks ,and Dmitri will say but "we thought" everything was 95%Ok and the car was pretty and scary fast¡¡...also with the leaks .... making 2.5 FAT times and pushing something like 570/80 Hp...

i was having very hard problems with the iddle, the car dieing whem the revs dropped and NOW,with every leak solved it looks like the old mapping could be affected now? because before the engine was reading for example "100points" of air in the MAF + the extra 10 points because the leaks... so i am not sure about this but the ECU could be pushing fuel XX for every 100MAF points + the extra 10 points from the leaks and NOW,with everything almost perfect and holes welded(yes holes welded ) the ECU could be reading 100 MAF points = XX fuel like it was doing before BUT with the difference that he needs the extra 10 POINTS FROM THE LEAKS??? making the mixture too rich right now??

every plugg seems to be perfectly connected also, swaped coils,ecu,Map....and the same

we also tried to install 3B injectors to check the behaviour and it worked bit better¡¡
also tried to make a cheat with another TPS.... and the engine started to work and sounding AWESOME passing the 4K revs...like a rocket¡

the cheat was connecting the cheat one like if it was iddling and the rear thorttle body open to 3000/4000revs ....and then started to works very good....

so we are thinking that maybe i need again a remap

    the leaks before were :

    Fuel rail moving
    injectors bubbling with water/soap
iddle valve pipe leaking where connects with the manifold
    Maf bad installed
Metal pipe between turbo coldside and Maf....where a right silicone elbow is now
holes X4 where the OLD crap catch tank was installed by someone clever in the cheap (1500€) Dhalback intake manifold¡¡

if the reason is this.....at least we now the solution...that it is something

also...if the car was pretty fast with that crap installation...i dont want to imagine with everything well connected

i am starting to believe the 608Hp dyno draw that Vadim did before sell me the complete engine bay... too good to be true with this "tiny" turbo

Unfortunately,we don't know why but the engine doesn't work well.

It seems to be enrichment like crazy!
    Lots of black smoke...

We've tried many things and we are thinking that it needs to be mapped again!!

Same engine, same everything except the body shell and the WIRING LOOM ,now from a 3b car....converted to Aan ecu of course.

    We are tired for today

    Check the video

Do you know which part broke?

You need to be careful with the TORsen rear diff too, they are not very strong
    i did not inspect it

also maybe i had more torque than 550nm

we will see what happen with the rear diff,it should hold i think because i am not going to track the car very much....so i hope to have it cold

Ok,the car has been stripped and its ready to be almost 100% refreshed .

The race engine with the rs4 gearbox are going to be installed inside the car + a refreshed new Audi V8 rear torsen diff

Hope it works everything together now in the coupe.

Whas that the 20v box that's gone?
i have not fitted any flexi,,,
i saw a little crank the last winter ...but i forgot it and obviously it goes more and more, day a day...

now i have to think what to do.
the gearbox is 01A ASZ from coupe quattro 2.3 20v yes. Alex "Error404" sold me it.

i did not ANY launch from stop with this gearbox...i only was trying pulls in 2,3,4 gears from 2000rpm . the gearbox was of course used before so it can be easy to expect it would go to broke .

i dont know if the diesel or CRB,CBL,CGR 01E boxes are strongers with the gearing...so we can expect the same problem in a used one. because these ones are only stronger with the first gear and for launchs from stop true?

too much torque, this is what happens

Really should replace these things with aftermarket downpipes
like the one you have for sale?
