Only got as far as this with mine at the moment, B4 80q with the AAN, started out as a 2.6 V6. I couldn't find a set of B3 mounts, your lucky there as you already have the bracket for the rad. Managed to weld in a set of B4 mounts

Since those pictures were taken its now running.

thanks, it a blast to drive.

how did you mount your rad, is it on an angle like mine?

Yes it is. Managed to use the original AAN inlet manifold (just as well because I didn't budget for a new one). Mounted a fan behind the rad.

The biggest ball ache was the electrics, had I gone the ABY route everything would've been plug and play. Managed to use the S6 loom with a few changes. Also the battery was mounted inside the rear wing.
But I've never been known to do anything by halves...

yea sure... the parts install went fine. the car feels so much better now. It was a night and day difference. It truly is a whole new animal. I also got and installed the new bumper..

then we come to the bad part.......The car was driving fine, out of nowhere the coolant light came on...white smoke and melted the headgasket and warped the head

so now the head has been fully refreshed and driving just fine...

yikes that sucks about the head. what was the cause? - so are you running it chipped? - what kind of power do you think you are putting down?

                      Well done.

Just bought a '95 Audi 90 Quattro Sport and I'm having an extremely hard time finding coilovers. Who did you buy yours from?

Thanks for the kind words Jeremy S.

He used 2Bennett's coilovers. Its a custom sleeve/collar/perch set up using koni's and your choice of spring, typically eibach race 2.5" ID 7-8" tall are used with whatever spring rate suites your primary driving purpose. There are a few other options as well. KW, H&R or other custom creations. Ive had the 2Bennett setup in the past and it does just fine. I used 350# springs and it was a bit stiff for everyday driving just how I like it. Ive since gone to 400# Eibach race but I don't drive the car everyday and its a different coil setup.

Jersey will probably have some good feedback for you too.

                          todays fun:

got around to putting on the carbon fiber hood and yellow fogs/blinkers. grill isn't in as I took it apart and painted it. I also got to instaling the tail lights.

(they look dark in the pic but are just right when actually seen)

Then the fun part. long story short the radiator needed to come out. everything was going fine then as I go to remove the upper coolant hose... crack. and now its time for a new radiator.
