    Building? Built

I'm not spending any more on it that's for sure.

It's Ragussa Green. RS2 mirrors would be lovely.

Who'd have thought that £1500 suspension would be any good

I know what you mean, I had leaks in 4 pipes , 3 of which were repaired, and another one which was custom made, apart from that, housing broke off the old compressor, a part of the old a/c rad where the pipe connected was corroded. It took a while to get it all right

You could always move the oil cooler somewhere else

The car used to have AC installed, and i even went as far as buying a load of new pipes to get it working again, but decided to strip it all out to save weight and get easier access.

The AC rad is removed and a Setrab oil-cooler party in its place meaning fitment of the AC rad in its stock location is not possible.

What's in the way for you getting aircon working Andy?

I have a bit of a rarity then I guess, an S2 with working AC..after a lot of setbacks though

Reminds me of the mental "designs" we came up with that summer at work!

Given the oil cooler is in the way i don't think the stock system would fit back on... time for something a little more... homemade.

Honestly I think the day the S2 has working aircon is the day that the world will just keel over and end in shock

I really need to get the scooby sorted so we can go do another track thrash!

Indeed, the next Euro trip should be far more comfortable... just need AC now

The rideheight was just to low and as a result whenever you hit a bump in the road (i.e all the time) the entirely springs compressed and bottomed out, causing a massive and uncomfortable THWACK!

The V3's, thus far, are a revelation

The crashing and banging has entirely gone, and to be honest the S2 on the road doesn't feel that much different to my BMW F20 125i M-Sport with it's slightly sportier M-Sport suspension setup.

It has entirely changed the composure of the S2 on the road, making it as comfortable as you could expect for day-to-day driving on the road but whilst maintaining a perhaps more track-orientated setup.
My spine is already composing a letter of thanks in advance for our next epic journey
