the DSY box comes with a "custom" propshaft for install plug/play in 3B cars and rear diff.... it is balanced too¡¡ so it should be a ABY one or other one moded for the same

Are your questions answered? I just noticed your PB, for more questions you can always just ask them

Compy has gotten some nice rear brakes, 310mm disks with V8 rear calipers and yellowstuff pads. The brackets were custom made by ultimot germany.

      The enigine just running smooth:

so i could use the 3B or ABy propshaft + DSY gearbox (same size as the CGR´s true? ) and s2/rs2 avant rear diff........

i will have to look for it...in the wanted section or in Spain..... or buy it a new one from factory..but surelly will be very expensive

        many thanks for advise friend¡¡

edit: Ur S4/S6 rear diffs are the same as the S2/RS2 avants??
I don't know if it's clear for you, but just to help you out:

ABY gearbox is possible. You'll need an ABY subframe to mount it. You can also use the 5-gear box from the 3b, wich can be mounted onto the original comp subframe. In both cases you can use the original cardan axle and the S2 saloon&sedan / RS2 ACE rear diff, combined with S2 saloon & sedan / RS2 rear axles.

Yes, we've installed a brand new kkk24/7200 turbo, RS2 EM and green bosch injectors. Also the old 3b transmission, maybe one day we'll put a CGR transmission in but it's ok for now since costs have risen way over budget. A 6-speed gearbox and subframe is about €1000 so that's for later.

the 6 speed box is a little bit longer so you cant use the orginal cardan from the compi when you are using a ABY box. you will need and rs2/s2 avant/sedan cardan axle

Haha lol, sorry I don't come here so often. Today we took the compy for a drive but it was (don't know the english word... Like there's marbles rolling in the engine when you're underneath 2000 rpm) quite hard so decided to go for a software remap and not drive it untill then, to avoid detonation damage. We used the 3b power steering pump and we also switched the brake cylinder from the s2 and removed the original drum. You can see it (badly) on the pictures. We also used the 3b brake accumulator ball ('bomb').

Before the software remap, we want the airflow to be better. Because the small ori 3b IC is not cooling that well, we want to install the big IC we allready have. But to do that we'd better also install a short intake manifold because the inlet is at the other side, and that's quite hard to find out because we want to keep the original radiator in place. And so it goes on...

And yes it had airconditioning but we removed that. We're doubting wether or not to try to fix it but it's quite hard because the lines won't fit anymore and the pump has to be fixed to the engine etc.

wich kind of software are you using in it??

are you feeling it bad or with possible detonations??

I've been told the noise could come from the lighter flywheel, combined with the sinter clutch and the torsen diff. I'll have an expert figure it out, because I'm not really familiar with this noise. At the moment the rear of the car is being repainted, since there were some scratches and a nasty dent on it. There are also some study things I really have to take care of, so I guess not much progress till after my exams next month.

Machine is up and running, had its first real trip yesterday. Did 130 kms back home, and some 50 more this weekend. It's going nice, but not on full power yet. We know we need an other exhaust (this is a 3b ori exhaust with 2 kats etc), bigger IC etc. But I guess it's now doing 275hp at least so not bad compared to the 140 hp from the 16V. I don't like the short gears, shifting takes more time than accelerating. But I guess the 6speed gearbox has the same lengths... We have the ori 3b FPR and some more things that need to change, but it's a relief it's running smooth and without any strange noises or problems. The rear (trunk, bumper, and rear side) has been repainted since there was a dent in it and so the spoiler was removed by the painter, I do like the looks of it now. So not sure if it's gonna come back on .

                              Joris,

well done, looks good, 5 studs rims looks nicer IMHO than the 4 stud ones. Leave off the boot spoiler, it can always be added later.

Can I ask you to explain in more detail what you did with the back brakes, in particular the type of bracket you bought from Ultimot. Any photos would be great.

What handbrake cables did you use?

Who is the manufacturer of the red rear springs in the photo in post # 26?

                              Thanks for your time.

                              Enjoy driving it.

perfect project.. well done.. I like it very much.. I also recommended to Skull that we must do the engine swap on his Competition.. but he don't wont to do that..

when you done this engine swap , don't stay on 3B ECU. convert it to ABY or AAN. it's better choice .
