Interesting, is the 3B a single piece loom like the 7A or does it seperate like the ABY one?

I would be very interested in seeing the difference. I have a full 7a harness still (still in the car), if needs be I can integrate it, I plan on moving my battery to the boot. I also am parting out an URS4, I think that i could grab some of the wiring from that as well considering it has the battery under the rear seat and between the two i'm sure I can make one... This is just one of those small things I knew I would run into along the way....Comment

I was out in the garage just checking some thing out and working up a game plan, I was looking at the harness I have and noticed a couple plugs that I am unfamiliar with. I'm curious if anyone could tell me what they are for, here is a picture i saw in Ross' project.

The Plugs in question are the two round ones in the corner by the ABS module.
thanks for your help!Comment

Well it is only are small part of the loom, more of an extension of it. I found this picture...
(this picture was from that bloke on ebay who sells ABY parts at a MINT)
Looks like my loom is missing this part. Does anyone have one?
Also what are these connectors? Just trying to see if it even applicable to my application.Comment

That part of the loom connects to the MFTS, oil pressure switch and sensor, that sort of thing.SSComment

As above its the loom attached to the engine block. The AAN should be similar, not sure if it has the disconnect plug but worst case you can bypass that and hard wire it in.91CQ20v - Gone to a new home

That wiring also has the connection for reverse light switch and the speed sensor from memory.Comment

I've got that part of a 3B loom in the garage, it looks similar to ABY, if not the same - does the same thing, with MFTS, oil sensors, afterrun pump etc just not sure if the connectors to the main loom are the same (BTW, mines not for sale, but might help you see if a 3B one will work also
)
AFAIK the speed sensor and reverse switch are put in the same conduit but not part of that loom, so are the knock sensors

Well cleared out the garage, hauled away the old 90...
Now it should have been a quick 2 hour max task but of course things don't always go to plan. I tried calling those "we haul your scrap metal" people and after 4 of them never showing up and not returning calls I realized that if I wanted this car gone I would have to do it myself.
I stole a pallet, bought some wheels and made my own little cart, I will add that it worked great for moving the car around...

Here she is out on the street saying goodbye...

Now here is where the trouble started... We thought it would be a good idea to tow it against the bumper since we didn't want to screw up the truck whenever breaking occurred, and I think this would have been fine HOWEVER if you notice in the picture we didn't flip the pallet around and the two Fixed wheels are in the front, and the rears are the ones that turn...

We got about 6 blocks before those two front wheels where completely gone.
:bashtard:
Now I still think that it would have made it all the way to our destination if we had the correct wheels in front.
after about an hour this was the new configuration... very ugly and very shady, luckily the junkyard is close to my house...

yes we actually traveled with it like that.
and it's new resting place... the owner guy will be giving me credit at the junkyard... perhaps I'll get a vacuum assist booster and some manual CC stuff....

Now I realize my last couple posts might not seem like progress for the project but I assure you that they are, I need a place to work so clearing out the last car and getting it cleared means one step closer to finishing my project. that being said I finally got around to organizing and cleaning my garage.
Now the donor is pulled in and work can really begin.
