More Parts! They got held up in customs and I had to give all sorts or information to get the moving again surprised they didn't ask for a urine sample, but it was all worth it. Thanks again Andy!

0-130 within a mile on salt... I could probably go for the 150 but I believe they require a rollcage for that.
Cool stuff! I drove our rental on the salt flats last July, it's a really wierd feeling - messes with your sense of speed and direction. 110mph felt like a walk in the park, and I quickly realised I better not lose sight of the cones
Got a little bit of wrenching time... Lately I have been playing chauffeur to my wife who is working on her thesis. I keep explaining the importance of finishing this but she just doesn't get it. Then there was our basement that had a small flood in it... damn broken sprinklers.... Anyway Did a little bit of pulling of the interior
This is probably why my drivers seat didn't move back or forward, i thought just that motor was burnt out...
Here is the "power" cable(s) from the URS4, Since I am going with the ABY S2 approach I needed to run power cables and to the best of my knowledge these are very similar if not exactly the same as the ABY power cables.
From the battery terminal, there are two cables, one that runs down the drivers side of the car to the fuse box (which I plan on using for the fuse box), and a second that runs down the passenger side through the fire wall. At the firewall it splits again, one cable goes up to the "battery post" and the other runs to the starter. I'm hoping to use it in the same way, and even install the battery post for a nice OEM look.
Got all the interior out and the carpet, The passenger side is a little wet, since i have everything out I'll try to find the source of the water. i'm guessing it is from the sunroof drain...
One thing about ripping out the interior that just truly frustrates me is the "profession stereo install" These people broke SEVERAL panels and trim pieces (car toys or best buy, i have receipts for both for this car), they used that black sicoflex crap to put things back together because they couldn't figure it out, I know Hank can understand my frustration since we saw the same thing in his URS6 when we removed his interior.
And one quick question while we are here. Question: Is this the correct connector for the altitude sensor?
It is on a long interior piece that branches off from everything else except for what looks like one of the Climate control connectors, if I'm not mistaken the altitude sensor is in or around the "A" pillar...(in an ABY Coupe) The wire colors were different from the AAN harness, but it was the only interior plug with the same connector.
that's all for today, but I should have some more time Friday, hurray for paid holidays (especially ones that I have never heard of, Pioneer day?!?! Utah.)
Interesting to see the S4 battery cable - I have just installed an ABY battery tray in my CQ and trying to sort out out the cabling for it - i'll look out for an S4 one What is the battery post you mentioned?
Are you going to install a battery tray under the rear seat? Its a nice easy job if you can get one thats been cut out of an S2 shell carefully

The battery post, or positive terminal, is if you look at this picture in the lower left hand side, left of the strut bar and above the strut mount:
Due to the cost (ordering from england/germany) and labor involved in installing the battery tray under the rear seat, for the time being I plan to put a distribution block under the rear seat and run a power cable to the boot where the battery will be.
Since I'm not putting in a battery box under the rear seat (even though the current cables I have lead right where it should be), I was thinking about using one of these guys to "T" off and run a separate cable back to the trunk area where the battery will be sitting.
Hi buddy, you can make a battery box from a piece of flat sheet steel! easy peasey!!! If your any good with a welder?? The distrabution block idea will work, but if your going race car just boot mount it! Good luck with the project!
Yeah, I have a welder friend who would help me out, the bigger problem is timing. I would also have to re-route fuel lines and brake lines if I wanted to put in the battery box, more work than i want to do right now.
you don't need to re-route them - the brake lines are the same, and i just made one of the flexi fuel lines slightly longer and adapted the stock filter bracket to work - other than that you just need to make a template, cut a big hole in the car and weld it in
I used a Stinger distribution block in my 4000q. Like you said, I moved the battery to the trunk and ran the positive cable up to the front right kick panel where the block was mounted. Leads to the fuse box, starter, etc branches from there. I mounted the factory (+) jump block to the firewall. I also ran a (-) cable to the front and mounted a stud to which all the engine earths were placed. This put an end to the earth problem normally associated with the WX engine and allows me to charge the car's battery via the boot or bonnet.

Very nice, sounds like my plan. Do you still have that RS2 Airbox kicking around? I saw you list it on audifans, I wanted to pick it up but didn't (don't) have the cash until I sell some of my other parts.
