      Jeffer,

I welded a -12 steel weld nipple to the breather on the side of the block, the anodised blue part is a -12 to -8 JIC adapter so that the lower catch tank hose (-8) will fit straight on.

      Cheers,

      Mark.

Got it in yesterday, it went in quite easily, with just a little jiggling. Have had one problem though, as I have taken the spacer plate out to fit the 3B flywheel to the six speed box, the engine sits ~8-10mm further back and the 3 inch Downpipe was very nearly touching the right steering arm.....had to adjust the DP a bit.
            Lots still to do though.

            Mark.

P.S. Tom, BIG injectors on order m8 .

LOL, wondered if someone would notice that, the only way I can get it fit is to make a new thinner mount for the Hall sensor.....I haven't got the time at the moment.

You could always flog it to a 3B user and buy yourself a ready made one for the ABY/ADU etc

                          martin

                          Martin,

not yet m8, I have spent most of the week scratching my head, measuring and modifying a AAN PS pump bracket, I thought that it would lower the pump enough to clear my modded AAN inlet manifold but it didn't, the throttle potentiometer fouled on the pump.
So I had to cut and reweld it after adding some more metal to it to lower the pump mount. Just a little more to do on it and it should be OK. Then I will have to extend the loom for the potentiometer and the inlet temp sensor, fit a longer throttle cable that Martyn sent me to try out , re - plumb the inlet pipes to the turbo and resite a new air filter (havent decided what type yet). Oh, and torque up the front pulley. I am hoping to get all that done in the next couple of weeks as I am running out of time to get it runnning and run in before Mihnea comes over.

                          Cheers,

                          Mark.

P.S. it would help if it would stop p!ssing with rain

After mucho pain and aggro I have managed to get the PS pump out of the way of the modded AAN inlet manifold. Its been a real PITA, I've used the AAN PS pump bracket, but the PS pump still fouled up on the relocated throttle body, so I cut the bracket in half and extended it to lower the pump a couple of inches.
So after a week of fecking about with it, it now fits using the AAN belt tensioner, which is sprung and takes up the slack automatically, I have to find a belt that fits and after looking through ETKA it seems that a belt from the 2.5 diesel A4 is the right length and width.
I'm going to open a bottle of vino now and neck the lot.....my fingers are sore
