Haha, I shall move the clamps just for you johny. The brake lines are not as close as they look. I will have to do something with it though, these are all the bits that will take the time.

lol, I always spend fat too much time doing things like that when I do a build, I clearly have too much time on my hands lol

Lagging the exhaust and a shield of some type will work fine I'm sure but as you say its hardly a prioriry for now.

Can't wait to hear that engine sing though

Wish I had that much time

This is Turing into a race against time, I won't be wrapping the down pipe.

Cheers for the kind comments I have some more pictures when I get free time this week.

Sadly I don't anymore but in the past I have but as you say its amazing how small things like that do end up taking so long, easy to say it but very time consuming to a: get right b: get looking right !

Look forward to seeing the pics though, I WILL one day own another S2 and it won't be a heavy **** Avant !

Nice work but you don't need that small breather filter on the valve cover, I guess you're going to go with open valve breathing, just ignore that pipe and the upper connector on the back of the valve cover, that's a closed system that you need a filter for. Just use the lower breather to go to a catch tank.

                        Just a tip

I cut of that connector that you have the filter on, and I fed the vaccum regulator hose through that pipe. It was used as a boost controller vaccum hose pipe

You're attention to detail is as usual, very impressive

                              Love Cheese with my Whine

Some random pictures, its almost done. I have 30cm of exhaust work left to do and fill it with fluids and lock the crank. The boost pipe work is being done by my friend some time this week. Its 3" from start to finnish

Fitting welded to cold side to boost control.

                              Over view, still a mess.

I welded some mounts to the back of the cross member, I just need to put some bolts down through the brace with the bonnet catch.
