been a busy autumn with work, seems it never ends

Heres a few little bits i do not have many photo's at the minute (left my camera at the parents after too much wine)

I am scrapping the whole Audi loom and am making my own using a Ez wires kit. My Dash arrived a few weeks back from Race Technology



These heat shrinking lables for the new Loom cost a small fortune for what they are!

Which ecu are you using ? will it feed data to the dash ?

James i just removed all the looms from my s2. Inside and engine bay. There is a huge amount of cable there, are you sure you want to recreate all that!

Dr Wimborne at race logic sent a cable that he says should work, if not i have full susport fitting it from them. So either way

I have a loom here that will do every thing and its 1000% simpler

Audi looms do seem to contain 5 times more cable than they need. I'm guessing Terry is junking a lot of the electrical comforts the car came with.

Did the same whit my car, ript all of the oem loom out and in with my one costom loom mayed bye me from start to end. No problem what so ever.

I couldnt agree more, especially with my current predicament. been toying with the idea of this myself.

Its pretty simple

I brought a Engine loom from Repo this is some series kit

Weighs alot less than motronics loom about 100x stronger and comes with PDF and only three fuses and three relays. Best move i made.

Then i brought the Ez wiring loom from the USA



I'll post my own picture up tomorrow.

I went for a simple one. It has every thing you need for a MOT and power windows and a few gauge out puts.

So effectively i have three simple looms in my car now all alot less complex than the OEM spaghetti
