Ok interesting project in deed, Im a fan of doing things diferently.
It sounds OTT off throttle but not too bad when ngiven WOT, I think if you were to build a large air box which dose not amplify or resinate the noise you would be better off.

It sounds very much like the belt driving the charger is far too tight...It's making this noise when it is coming to a virtuall standstill, when the compressor is not functioning to a large degree...maybe you need to address this possible cause. Switching to the AAN ribbed harmonic damper may quieten things down a little.
Keep at it I'm sure you will overcome this problem!

I cant see how the intercooler is mounted clearly...if this component is not mounted on rubber mounts it can act as a resonating chamber and may contribute to the noise issues.

Definitely not a 7a manifold, 7a one is more compact overall, doesnt bunch up at the rear.

If you look on the pics in the first page it seems to be a custom built one.


Volenv... wouldnt it have been better to put the supercharger on the otherside of the engine? Seems like sitting on top of the exhaust manifold is a bad idea.?

ive got a 7a im planning on charging, what type of charger are you running there? and what boost are you seeing? im gonna keep watching with interest
