Ola, could you describe how the rear leather seats are built to sedan ? is the bench also from 2 pieces or ? The rear tilting back seat height adjustment is a little bit challenging and that the head rests tilt differently in Sedan than in limo S2. Tots in CH claims that the RS2 back seats can be built to B4 sedan with the avant aluminium adjustment pieces but something in the story still does match completely. So how is it done in your car ?

Mine isnt fully adjusted to fit... I have a 5cm gap between the back seat and the shelf...
I like it like that, because of my stereo system.. Now i`ve got so much venting between the trunk and cabin, that i dont have to shake the car to pieces to get some bass in the front of the car...
Some stereo pice then
First i had to dampen the car.. only the trunk, and front doors.
This to get less road noise, and to get more dynamic sound on less volume

Ready to make the cover plate that goes above the amps.. That is where i`m at today. Amps are Hertz, 4x100w rms for the front, 1x1000rms for the kicker 12"`s

Got made some POM rings to fill the space for the mids, tweeters fit right in the air vent.. Pioneer PRS series speakers. VERY nice sound

Pioneer P88rs. DSP, 16b EQ++

Midbass drivers in the doors.. Hertz HV165.. They play loud!
The door is of course dampened.. Using Vibroplast M1 and Bimast Bomb.

The stereo is built to play CLEAR nice music, but also loud
Not a SPL boombox.. (but it can, if i want it to
)

Thanks guys
I`m in the middle of making the cover plate as we speak.. perhaps i finish it tonight, or at least tomorrow. Not 100% sure if it will be with cut outs fors the amps, or not yet, but i think it will be.. and some plexi on top of them..
Nice project going on there!http://www.s2forum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=39405
this is it
now I'm following the engine work from the red competition on this site:
The Compi is 490hp on 1.9bar boost
I think to boost about 2.2-2.3bar and get 500+ hp ,but we will see
It wasnt easy for me to follow that language for the red one
Is it ported? Stock pistons? Comp. rate if not stock pistons? Cams?
I am a little worried that my 9,0:1 comp rate will be a little sensitive on normal fuel, to get so much power of the GT3076 u see.. Afraid it will be knock sensitive.
I`m thinking about changing out the 7a cams that are in my new motor, for some 270` special made ones, for better spool and timing generally..
I`d really LOVE this car to have full boost before 4000 (the closer to 3500 the better), and hit the 500hk mark
That would make it a perfect daily driver, wouldnt it?
Trying to afford Autronic SM4, but i might just stick with motronic for economical reasons. Lets hope for a MERRY christmas, right?

Sounds great.. What cams? (and cam timing)
I`m also wondering if the stock IC will do the job, for just street driving.. Dont want a bigger one, because of the special road legal approval of the car. When they pull me over for tech. inspection, i want the car to look JUST like it was when i got it street legal.
And at last, will the stock RS2 lmm keep up with 500hp, or does it need a larger housing?
I really think i should go for SM4... hehe..94` RS2 SedanComment

where you live, i presume you wouldnt have a problem. If you do, just fit a water injection system.
cyl head is original ADU as well as cams. The higher the compression the more 'alive' it is down low.
Obviously if you have a turbo that can run 2.5+bar of boost, then you will need a lower compression. Otherwise you wont be able to run that high boost.
Im planning to run a holset. A 56mm one i have on perfomance box runs, hit the desired boost @ 4000rpm on 3d gear on stock ADU engine completelly. A GT3076 should be able to match that easily being a BB turbo. Holset is 360 thrust bearing.Comment

Goodie..
And you are both running motronic?
I`m checking with the motor builder, how much room there are in the pistons now, for more overlap to get even better spool with cat-cam 270` cams.. If there is plenty room, i think i will change out the 7a`s before startup.
Or will it just surge instead? Making it better off with the 7a`s?
I`m not familiar with these GT turbo`s on the I594` RS2 SedanComment

Jyrki Repo (also on this forum under repo) can advise you on these turbo's. He used CT for building the strongest il5 2.2L on petrol, without NOS or something like that.Comment

Ahh, i ment GT turbos, not CTCT is CompTurbo (www.compturbo.com).

I`ll try to explain myself a little... (so that you might know me better as well
)
I have the GT3076 myself, but i`ve never tried to bottom it out on a I5..
therefor all these questions about comp rate vs. turbo..
(and i actually would buy an CT, if the car didnt allready have the GT installed..)
If 9,0:1 would make it a little sensitivt around/above 500hp, then i would know that i possibly not was able to empty the GT3076 because of EGT combined with a little backpresure, making the cumbustion way to hot, followed by ign. knock...
But now, you guys have just shared youre experience about this, making me belive that this should be possible with the right tricks up my sleeve
That might be the very reason why i like internet forums
I`ve only had 1 I5 with a little power before, but that was with an old kkk26/27 8`r..
I also have been a part of emptying a GT35 on a I5, making 650hk (crank), but never had anything to do with a GT3076.
I`m not as "n00b" as i might appear on these subjects, but i like to ask people with experience in a polite way, instead of trying to be an idiot claiming what i THINK
For the record, i`ve built 5 different street cars now, 3 of them above 400hp, 1 over 650hp, and been helping with programming stand alone ECU`s for other peoples cars as well.. (like the 650hp I5 GT35r project)
I also have a hobby buisniss in chip tuning cars, so i`m not as n00b as i might appear sometimes
I just think it sometimes is better to shut up and learn of others experience, and share my own knowlegde back when possible/needed..
SO, i thank you guys for sharing youre experience, which make my project planning ALOT easyer!

Ok..
How do you like the Vems? I`ve always thought of that as a "hobby ecu", like the Megasquirt, but i know they have been getting alot better these last years, so perhaps they are as good solutions as any other standalone systems by now?
I heard Vems could come with plug and play for the I5 now? That`s nice
If i`m going for standalone, then i`ll most likely go for Autronic SM4.. Costs more, but it`s a dream to program.. And very reliable in use..94` RS2 SedanComment
