i'm in France and i have started my project there is 1 year ago.

I but this nice Audi 90 Quattro type 85.











I buy this part of UrS4



And i removed her heart



bought of clutch disk for coupé UR quattro





And the operation begin...

now it's too cold and I have no lights or heating in my box so... i don't work a lot on my project by this days...

does the s4 engine fit on 90q gearbox without any changes?

yep, bolts on with UR clutch. Great thread, im very jealous, i was looking at doing the same conversion (albeit with an aby) my 90q is the same colour as yours too

Yes, you have to mix a 3B flywheel with a UR disk and 3B clutch mechanism.

Euh for the moment i plan to start the engine

Seriously, i plan later to convert to RS2 and no more for the reasons:

- Gearbox is ok for 350hp max(i have another and UR gearbox+rear deck)
- I will use 80% of time my quattro on circuit.

If i want to put a GT3076 or other i will have to put all of a S2 (gearbox, transmission etc...) so i will have to cut the tunnel to passe the gearbox.

well what a coincidence, that car was for sale somewhere early in 2008 IIRC, had contact with the seller at that time, but there were too many bad points on it. Something with the clutch master or slave cylinder, some rust and 1 or more electric windows not working, other than that it looks like a nice one

Gearbox is ok for more power if it's in decent condition, and the tunnel won't need any cutting done to fit a S2 GB.

I have owed Audi 90 b2 quattro too. I was replaced standard engine with 20vt 3B. Few months ago I sold it!
Also I have Coupe b2 quattro - now she is under construction!

Exactly it's this Audi, i bought it and used it during one year without problems. But all what you say is real but despite the clutch problem it was good to use everyday.
