and why?? will work bad a car with 450hp and 7a exhaust cam??
my car works "perfectly" with a k26/27,Dhalback adjustable cam pulley, and 7A exhaust cam with 3B inlet cam of course.
i think that it is not necessary yes i know it,but if you have it ...why not??

just swapping the 7a did the following.
poorer everything till around 6500. then a little better.
still i belive there may be something in it with 2 timing pulleys and a lot of fiddling. like twin ex cam 16v. probly at say 600hp or so. repo would be able to cast some light here. cams are often a secret area though.
not worth it but once its in caw we be bothered to swap it back.Comment

my car works well with both 3B cams and with 3B inlet + 7A exhaust...i´ve tested both styles and it seems that with 7A exhaust it is revving up faster
i have it intsalled ,because i´ve bought them in the past 2 years ago....and i had the chance for install it whem did the cam belts, other belts and Dhalback adjustable cam pulley
aniway i´ve changed the turbo since k24 7200 to k26/27 ... i am very happy with the hybrid how it runs and how my 7A ex cam rev faster

Repo has timed Terrybullwon and my cams in our cars and we both had 7A cams prior to his advice which were promptly sold..............
The 7A's can be timed ask Gazza says with custom cam wheels but getting that timing right, after watching Repo do mine I wouldn't like to try
Prosty and Audi_CQ have had the best results out the 7A. Audi CQ timing specs are posted on the forum, Prosty reground the cams to a secret spec and got 1000 rpm less leg
With the 7A exhaust only you lose torque low and mid and gain up high. With both 7A you get more lag but the car pulls harder on boost.
