and spraying should start in a few weeks for the shell will post some pics when i have

so now can start buliding engine which is going to be done by pete at white cottage

the shell is going to the sprayers in the next few weeks and having the arches done

been emailing 034 and have decided to go for the precsion 5557 turbo spools up quiker than 3071 and put out more power

can any one tell me how much 340lb ft is in nm thanks

460nm is not more torque than a 3071 AFAIK

You want good torque not out and not just out big bhp power for the car to feel quick.

I've seen stock K24 turbos get 300 or more lb/ft

they said a 3071 will make 310 lb ft and the 5557 will make 340 lb ft they said all tried and tested

i have a friend here "Manuel Garrido" forum member who had very recently 305cv and 460nm with a S2 3B all original except a full 70mm super sprint exhaust sistem with a MTM software 1´5bar , 250kpa map sensor and RS2 IC...and nothing more...¡¡

i think that his results were awesome for a "original" 3B... of course with 3B airbox too¡¡

torque is not the be all and end all. id expect more torque from my bmw 530d than my s2. its not faster though. by a long stretch.

i want a torque plateau not the equivelent of premature ejaculation.

how do you define a tuner Vas. ive seen many a worse result from "tuners" than you have there. im not a tuner but ive fixed a few "tuners" maps.

No disrespect but was in relation to the figures given by 034 and not referring to diesels.

The 034 quote was 340 lb/ft 460 nm torque which apparently is more than a 3071 which is not the case.

Whether it can or can't cant confirm never seen a plot this is going on the suppliers data.

The I5 power delivery is not like a diesel at all.
