i know just trying to get the point that hp is useful too. i think through experiences we come to similar conclusions

you are of course correct these cars with the weight and 4x4 benifit from torque first and foremost.

the turbos are very similar. either will give a very similar result. id say now you wont notice 30lbsft at 300+ levels.its not enough of a difference.

picking either will work. joining the precision club will get you into a smaller group of elitists. by that i dont mean better just fewer.

my thought on this vas is your map works. pay yourself to be your own tuner. owning and driving the car everyday gives you the best knowledge and timespan to get it good. also we all drive differently. when ive tuned cars i dont drive. i want to tune it to the style of the owner not mine.

have a good bank holiday guys.

not sure you will like the fidanza flywheel, but hey! you will see in time!

what are you doing for mapping? is it motronic? id love to see results of the precision unit!

lighter flywheels are brilliant for track, but are harsher on everyday use.You have to rev the car more from standstill to get it moving as there is not much inertia, and sometimes you will smell the clutch disc. They make the car rev more freely though.

I have heard that you can get a bit lower highest torque but at least longer lasting torque over the revs, depending on the turbo. With the one you have got, i bet it will be a nice fat curve!

great its not going to be a every day car so i wanted a racey car feel and hope to do a couple of track days so should be good i have a merc diesel for lots of miles this is a pure toy so wanted it quite radical.

the body is in the process of being totally stripped for total respray either ford st orange or audi inca orange not sure yet

Keith, you have got the wrong Wagner intercooler.

The intercooler you have in the pic is for use with the oem intake manifold in the stock location, yet the previous pic shows you've bought a wagner reverse inlet manifold!

surly the oem ic have exit and entrance on the same side the one i have bought should be for reveres inlet which has entry and exit on oppsite sides

no, jamo is right. the oem is on either sides but has the tube on the traverse that brings it back to the other side. the wagner intercooler for the reverse manifold has a tube extention and the specific hose that goes to the reverse inlet.

boll**ks i didnt know they where different three seems to be a massive price difference between the two 500 euros

if you can get a pipe to hold on the the IC exit it should work but it all depends how much room there is there to make an angled tube and weld it or get an angled samco hose or something.
