      Glad you're making good progress
Did you just need to pull the arches a tad to fit the ET20s on? Or weld on extensions? Any more pics?

Pete built my engine and put all the mods on my S6. The guys at MRC (when I had it mapped) commented on how good it all looked. He used to work on Ferraris and other exotica!

all sub frame and hubs etc removed and gone to powder coaters will be fully stripped and poly bushed and all bolts will be replaced with stainless then painted with anti stone chip paint and wax oil

              pics to follow

alloy bushes a right f##ker to remove

keith - i'd not powdercoat them, i'd por15 them it would last longer, powdercoat chips and water gets underneath then rots it inside out

                keep up the good work.

Powder coating should not chip at all.

it does though dude, then becasue the coating is so hard rust spreads underneath it and it flakes off in big chunks.. I've powder coated bits of running gear before and after a while it needs doing again. POR15 chemically bonds to the surface of the steel so it can't chip away completely, you can scratch it but theres always a layer on the surface of the steel so it doesn't rust

Keith don't use stainless for critical bolts like wishbone or subframe bolts as its not as strong as OE

8.8s & 10.9s are high tensile, different properties to SS which is more brittle IIRC... I'm sure one of our resident metallurgists will be along shortly to correct me.
I used A4 grade stainless for all non critical fixings... but stick with OEM for wheel bolts, hub bolts, pinch bolts, wishbone bolts, strut to hub bolts & subframe mounts IMHO
