Anton I have turbos turning up randomly but a fair few people already waiting.

Thomas and David to run 2.5 bar you need a specific back plate and comp wheel, easy enough but parts are expensive

working on some modded k24 7000's at moment should be good for 315bhp with instant spool

                  I use original K24 7000 right now and it´s produsing 1,5BAR @4700RPM and then falling down to 1,1BAR @ redline. I have run with that 12,6 @ 1/4 mile.
I have not dynod the car yet... but it should be near 300bhp to get that kind of time @ 1/4 mile.

300 bhp is about the limit for k24 7000 before it goes up in smoke
hoffer76 think he can get more than that out fo it,well.

I know of one k24 that was doing 321bhp on tubular manifold and a boost controller but it mullered the internals of the turbo after a while

I have driven my car about 3 years with 1,7BAR peak pressure, but it was with motronic, and the pressure dropped after it got so high. Now I use VEMS and it holds 1,5 almoust to 5000RPM and the turbo is still original and I have not repaired it on any way (same goes with engine )

but is it possible to get more than 315bhp out of original k24 7000?
and how long would this turbo last?
the only way to gain 315+ is to change lots of things like internally and external component.
at the end of the day,is it worth pursue this, when there's so many other modern turbo on the market

Why are you worried about this if you have an rs2 turbo on your car? that puts out more power and tbh lag on it (from being in a tuned one at the weekend) isn't worth worrying about.

Snake oil...................... if you have an rs2 turbo you can do 380 bhp why worry about the k24?

And the bottom line is... when your original turbo fails (7000 or 7200, doesnt matter) why go on with the "small" ones
