Cool cheers, I got a bit more complicated with it cutting to miss the wiring loom covers but basically the same, then I also put a set of old floor mats under there too as it seemed to need to be a bit thicker

Carpet is now in and trim replaced. Went for a drive, it certainly feels plusher and a lot less road noise.

The car feels like its properly back together for the first time in nearly 2 years!

I basically cut out the rotten bits of the factory stuff and replaced with the luxury liner, as i happened that was basically in the rough shape of a set of floor mats

Then I cut a couple of extra bits for the sides of the tunnel and the cross member either side of the front seat. Use a bit of carpet adhesive to stick it down mate

"New" carpet has been "Shake and Vac'd" in readiness for tomorrow

@ Alex, when you fitted your new posh underlay, did you cut it to fit all the different levels on the floorpan?

Last time it rained there were a few drops in the driver's footwell, I think coming from the bonnet cable grommet, hopefully I've fixed this now but it hasn't rained since. I've picked up a black 3B carpet from Keith so I'm ready to go as soon as I'm certain its dry. Might get the hose pipe out tomorrow..

7.84 Euros each, double that for postage and packing + 19% tax = 56.89 Euros for the three. The other one is NLA at the moment..

Fitted a decent driver's side door seal and black triangle yesterday courtesy of Keith (avants2turbo) and cleaned and silicon greased the bonnet cable grommet as I think there was a little water leaking through due to dirt build up, with no carpets in you see every drop!

Fitted a new pair of Brembo rear discs. The EBCs GDs were hopelessly pitted with big chunks of rust flaking off. Brakes are now superb but do still need to service the monoblocks and replace the seals.
