Looks a bit funny with the green front bumper though lol (and no rear one at all. )

Oh yeah, and no carpets and only the driver's seat

Dude its a beast now, you will be impressed, the spool seems so much faster and more aggressive, wheelspin in the dry... "just" with a pair of manifolds.. WTF

I'm pretty sure AAN cable is too short also. The Team Bodge cable is ok though, it was the Thottle Body cam catching on the bonnet trim. With the bonnet closed and operating the pedal I could hear a scraping noise, pop the bonnet and it went quiet.

I've got a pair of old school Recaros, from a BM I think. I'll have to get some pics up.

Recaro Speed is still for sale, fancy it?

Congratulations. Good to to read it will be going places again soon.

Had the throttle stick at WOT once, brown pants moment.

Is an AAN throttle cable too short as well?

    No worries Alex!

Amazingly I have to report that the car passed it MOT today!

So this evening I took it for a little run round the lanes. Brakes are not great as the discs got pretty rusty being outside parked up for over a year but even without giving it full stick the car seems to go pretty well I did have a few worrying moments though when the throttle seemed to stick open for a second or so after lifting off, its amazing how scary this feels thought it might be my team bodge throttle cable but it turned out I needed to cut a bit more out of the the plastic trim at the front of the bonnet to clear the throttle mechanism. All seems to good now so I'll go for another test run tomorrow. Pretty sure I'll need to buy new discs though..
Oh yeah, I rather like my Recaro too

Nice to get any extra space in their.

My catch tank is squeezed in where the carbon canister used to be.

    Unfortunately I'm in the RAC

Anyway, after an hour looking at various bits of cable etc on the web I went out to the shed and spotted an R1 clutch cable.. couple of hours later I've replaced the inner and extended the outer.. joined the original nipple on at the TB end. Cant believe how hard it was to feed the new inner from inside the car, all done by feel..

You don't need to bother with a "proper" ABY coupe battery loom - all it is is a big **** off cable feed direct to the starter motor, and a cable feed to the fuse board, you can buy all the bits from here: http://www.autoelectricsupplies.co.uk/category/24
I reused my 7A earth lead, although its a few inches too long.

I could only get hold of an ABY cable from the battery to the starter motor, so i made up the one to the fuse board. Both cables routed down the drivers side of the car, the cable to the starter goes through a grommet in the bulkhead behind the top of the accellerator pedal and come out on the top of the chassis leg, i think theres some pics of it in my project thread, also one showing the feed into the fuse board
