Nice... Getting into that stuff would be very cool... the programmable logic with a DAC to create the perfect G4 wave would be superb, but maybe overkill too... I have all the bits now to finish the prototype and see if the ECU starts with a G4 signal coarsely derived from the TTL trigger... I also have a deluge of day job getting in the way for the next few weeks but thats life I suppose. I will gladly explore the more advanced things as time & opportunity arises.

I should really get my xilinx dev board back out. It got put away along time ago as I only had a parrallel programmer for it, i'll see about dusting it off and take a look at that articleGreg
