I'm 100% sure. You have to change the loom and everything incl fuse box.

im not 100% sure. ive changed the 16v for an 20v 7a and i kept the original competition fuse box.

It'll be quite complicated when changing all relais and so... We've just changed the entire box, that worked quite well and fast. Except for some minor details wich take mf much time to find out .

My S2 is running with a 2.3 fusebox, with all the relais of an s2, and I don have any problems with it.

As I could see in vagcat, there is only one reference for the fusebox, common for all audi coupe quattro.

I agree with you, that Rocco has to change the engine loom and the relais.
