    Awesome work with the buggy!!
Got some serious traction issues going on there!
The LSD will help initial traction but i can see it being even more wild when it does loose grip on both wheels at the back.
Have you thought about putting some wider + stickier rubber on the back?

Yes, we need to look at getting more traction, one way or the other, but it's a lot of fun the way it is

Here is a link to a reworked track day video with some additional footage. Enjoy.

If you lengthened the wheel base, I think she would be a lot less twitchy. Also try a bit of toe in on the rear alignment and negative camber.

Watched your hill climb vid and the left wheel is the one that looses traction in the runs in either direction. Bigger Dia rims and tyre pressures are other things you can play with.

Looks like a lot of fun.

It's just better than a 60/40 split without the driver. I have the exact weights somewhere...

Ryss - Thanks for your comments, I'll pass them along. We keep the tyre pressures between 25 and 30 PSI, and are moving from 215 to 225 and 235 tyres to improve the traction.
Cape Town is beautiful, must go back there soon

                        Another track day:

Link to video at the end of the one above. Picture quality is not so good, but sound is excellent, and that's why we're all here, right? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UiI-zD6L3hI

We also built another buggy in the mean time. See: http://bbs.scoobynet.com/projects-40/960994-buggy.html
