The boost control still isn't right, so she was only running 0.5 at low revs, but did build it up higher later in the rev range. The only thing left is a wiring issue, so I'm going to wire it direct to the ECU, rather than through the factory loom.

It's for fun and mostly for the challenge of building it.

I should have been specific - the N75 doesn't seem to be doing its job. It did previously work sometimes, but not that day. We are using a new MAC valve and one of the ports is to the atmosphere. Wiring it straight to the ECU and bypassing the loom is really the only thing left I can think of.

We can't get a LSD for that gearbox, it's from an Audi 80. Wider tyres would help things, they already are 235 though.

I drove that circuit years ago in a 20v ur Quattro and that seemed fast, must be a real adrenalin rush piloting that thing

Nout wrong with a good ol Bosch WGFV... You shouldnt have any ports connected to atmosphere either.

port 1 to compressor outlet
port 2 to wastegate
port 3 to compressor input (MAF hose - ALWAYS under vacuum)

when N75 modulates under boost - it as not as effective when port 3 is at ambient

I'd like to get some data out of that machine with a laptop robustly strapped on sometime !

You shouldnt have to wire N75 directly to ECU... with vagcom you can do output tests so as to test wiring all the way to N75 - wiggle the loom and connector while doing that to verify it is good.
