Ok, long time since I updated this thread on account of the car sitting in bits at Bahnstorm for 2 months...

So, alternate plan for similar power, K4-23, yup, not the compatible K04-015 which is a direct swap, but I bought the wrong one and am now trying to make it fit, from research, the core is bigger on the 23 and is a better turbo but comes from the transverse mounted S3 8L

Anyway, sourcing a TT225 exhaust manifold and then Aidan is going to rotate the exhaust flange, and we should be able to use existing feed/return pipes from the K03 and adapting the intercooler pipe work. We will also need to rotate the turbo housing

Who knows? Maybe it won't work in a longitudinal engine, and I'll have to sell it, but if it works... :-)

Not much been happening mechanically... I still have the throttle body issue so need a good auto electrician, anyone help?

So, finally got the car back after 3 months in Aidan's lockup at Bahnstorm and it's full steam ahead through my stockpile

First stop, fit the 90 cluster, I have 3 of them and two audis on the go, about time, looks great with the grey paint

Sold! its gone to a guy round the corner from me on the next estate and he's into his old sleepers (had a saab turbo sleeper before) so hopefully he will continue the progress on old bertha... To Be Continued?
