Blown bulbs have been replaced, new handbrake switch has arrived and i have left a dehumidifier running in the car to get rid of the moisture built up due to the leak from the A/C.

It seems the oil temp sender is broken as when the car is left running a short time the oil temp gauge reads at over 170 degrees :/ Water temp is normal so don't think it's anything major.

I see you have still not replaced the side light bulb.

You could do with a different heated rear screen switch and headlamp adjustment switch so the colour matches.

Nothing major really just a lot of little things...usual wear and tear (bushes, mounts, etc.)
Will put a full list on later.

Gutted I can't drive it yet but on the upside i know everything will be done and will last a good few years! Plus it gives me something (more) to do...and more to write about on here lol

So the S2 failed its MOT today :'(

What on? Well here's the list...

1. Front number plate deteriorated
2. Windscreen washer hose snapped
3. Widescreen cracked
4. Nearside side repeater not working
5. Nearside headlamp insecure
6. Nearside front bottom arm bushes
7. Offside rear bottom arm bushes
8. Top mounts
9. Front brake hoses
10. Offside rear anti-roll bar rubber mounting
11. Offside rear shock absorber
12. Brake bomb leaking
13. ABS light doesn't go out until engine started
14. Nearside rear brake light adversely affected by the operation of indicator
15. Nearside rear sidelight adversely affected by the operation of indicator

...looks like I've got a bit of work to do lol...

...and here are the advisories...

1. Offside front seatbelt slightly worn
2. Nearside front tyre worn close to legal limit
3. Offside front anti-roll bar linkage has slight play in ball joint
4. Rear sub-frame slightly corroded
5. Handbrake needs slight adjustment
6. Rear diff mounts
7. That's it, thank god! Lol

It did pass the emissions test though!

There's a lot of LITTLE jobs to do so not as bad as it first seemed...just a ball ache.

Hi mate, fully comp insurance 50gbp replaced! Without jeopardising NCB Get it done last once you have done everything else and are going to insure it anyWay/ if you haven't already!

Yea just double check with insurance excess on screen and whether Its covered it is most of the time and 50gbp subcontracted to national windscreens, sometimes where applicable let you choose colour of screen (normal/green and top tint)
