When I have some more time on my hands I will pull the compressor housing and measure the compressor wheel.
Did you stick with this turbo Jeffer and do you know who did the software? My car was rumoured to be MTM chipped and it went to GTI engineering 1995 and 1998, that's all I have to go on ATM, I'd put money on them having done the work as it looks factory. All the other stamps in my service book are from Audi, mostly the dealer that sold the car early in 1995 so they obviously knew the conversion was done, wonder if it was officially sanctioned by them so to speak.
I did think the car felt very strong, and I have a host of little boost leaks to sort before I drive her again so no doubt it will go even better then.1989 B3 2.0 3A 80 quattro... Budget 1.8T Project.

That's interesting that you have exactly the same compressor on it.
Indeed the RS2 feels very quick with this setup. I've never openend the ecu btw.
Currently it's still running on that turbo. The RS2 is about to retire from service and will only be used on sun,- and holidays .

I'm guessing you've spotted it but just case here's a link to the thread with pic's of my set up and ECU internals.

Are you getting anything interesting to replace the RS2?1989 B3 2.0 3A 80 quattro... Budget 1.8T Project.

Hi Fellow S2forum members.
I managed to focus on Audi's again recently. Had different prio's the past years. But hey, presto here we are again.
So I decided to restore the full driveline and suspension on the RS2. Also send out the big red's and rear calipers for a full refurbishment.
Had the full undercarriage powder coated, ordered everything in powerflex, ordered Konis front and Bilstein rear shocks.
I expect to start assembling again next weekend. The car is still on its wheels, so I remove the old undercarriage and replace it with the new one.
Cheers

Hi Jeffer, welcome back, good to see you here again!
Always nice to see pics of shiney parts, I like the lathe setup for lowering the spring perch too.
