I haven't died people but I still haven't recovered as fast as I wanted, training is as stated before a priority one in my life now, also going trough a carrier change and some house buying. Have got a Little spare time so I assembled the rear shocks and installed the rear axle with all the trimings, just need to paint the driveshaft and then I´m on track again. The brakes are getting along fine and as soon as I get my prototypes (on the way over) I think I can install the Porsche caliper not this weekend but maybe next. (rear ones just misses some bolts) And then the front shocks will get on the car it´s getting closer as we speak. Have no photos yet, but maybe next time.

Hi Wrath, pleased for you that your back is improving enough to let you get back to it.

Looking forward to your future posts in your own time.

Enjoy the journey, the result will be worth it, when you go wot, and feel the thrust into your seat, feel the suspension in the corners, and then the brakes when you look to stop.

And the appearance of it when you look back at the car after parking it.

Awesome project Wrath, keep on the good work!

I just installed my Apicol diff mount during my -93 UrS4 rear axel rebuild and it fits in nicely. You do have to use the old OEM nut or similar to fix the mound to the subframe. The thin nut stays in place like you said above.

Here's a picture of my Apicol diff mount installed -> klik

Talked to Apikol and the OEM nut are supposed to be re-used and the thin nut on the actual Apikolmount is just to hold it together and it´s made to slide in to the small recess on top of the subframe/crossmember

Jupp, exactly... don´t know if i´m slow today, this is the problem when you dismantle everything and get injured and just have a pile of parts 1 year later to assemble

By the looks of it, it seems like you just attach the diffmount to the diff (3 screws) and unscrew the nut of the big washer and lay it down on the crossmember and then tightned it with the nut tru the crossmember. Washer is between crossmember and diffmount.

But I have accidently tossed the oem mount away so I dont have anything to look at and by the look of the Apikol mount it looks similair except the nut is really thin and the washer is smaller then the oem. Just looked weaker in the construction.
But I guess without having the parts present that you do as I described. Just took a quick googling and found no picture of it so... don´t know if you are suppose to reuse the oemnut aswell...

Havent got the original left. I assume you bolt it somehow against the crossmember
But it doesent seem to have any washer or anything according to the schematic at VAGCAT.
Hmm... don't know what the VAGCAT issue is. This is the diagram that you should have found:
