Very nice looking car! Is that a custom bumper on the front?

Thanks. It certainly has the "tone" to it. It's funny that you can just hear it when a car really has power, it sounds strong.
Of the 500 views the outside video has gotten, perhaps 250 are me myself
The car is also on these:
In the latter it's on GTi Magazine photo shoot at the airport.. I ate my own words then, I swore a couple of years ago that my cars will never ever be on any tuning magazines..

Although it's pretty subjective, but mainly the fact that Motec is working. I've hade no problems with it.
I had a lot of trigger problems with vems along with apparent fueling problems. All in all, the car did not function even nearly as well as it does with motec. I did however also upgrade triggering and made the wiring loom, so that had some part in it as well, I'm sure.
Mainly I just got very irritated by the fact that vems developers focused on adding trivial functionalities to the already-packed-full ecu and did not fix apparent and important problems. I just lost all confidence to the ECU and figured that if I've put many thousands of euros to the engine, I do not want to destroy it with an ECU that's not "on the ball".. For one, I suspect that the ignition timing is inaccurate on some applications, including the 5cyl. It's always losing sync and there's priority problems that hint you to the fact that the cpu is pretty much maxed out. The car is jerking every now and then, it has misfires every now and then with no apparent reasons.
Last straw was the fact that some of the developers said that they are not going to work on the audi trigger system anymore, it's **** as they said.
Once I installed Motec, I just turned the ignition key and that was it. I had done the config offline, downloaded it to the ecu and it was done. No more misfires, no more gear dependent afr's, no more trigger errors.. Also I've always loved the diagnostics of motec. And I love the ECU logger. And I love the PC UI. And I love the fact that when you make a change in parameters, it actually does exactly what you've predicted. Not trial-and-error like with vems.
I'm done with ECU-config-hobby and back having car tuning as my hobby.Comment

Went to try 1/4-mile for the first time, that was fun!
No launch control configured and I didn't have the guts to really slam the starts, so 60-footers are at 2,4-2,5s. Best run 12,087 @ 217,65kmh 2,405 60ft.
Now I know what to improve and especially in which direction to go with the project next, quarter mile is fffffun!Comment

From Fast and Furious: It doesn't matter if you win by an inch or a mile; winning's winning.
But with 217 top speed, i bet you can do high 10's with that car, if all gear changes are perfect.
I did 11.4@204 here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5UZ9ZYO2_-4
Personal best still 11.3@204 with 1.85 60ft.Audi UrS4 609hp/846Nm @ wheels
