I know in Latvia (I think so) wheels can't be outside wheel arches, is it the same in UK, or no-one cares? I will still think about it, might move the 20mm one's to the rear, and get 25mm one's for the front

Went over it with T-Cut, bought Autoglym resin polish and sealant to finish off, still need to tint rear windows.

Grill's fitted already, will take a close up picture tomorrow.

Don't forget to cut all the hatch wires andremove the hatch when you take it to the shop for tinting.

I am tinting myself I only need to tint boot side windows, as I moved boot lid and rear door windows from A100

I thought today will be a good day to swap over side mirrors from A100, as I am not a fan of S4 mirrors. As my A100 was LHD I was sure the motor is different (works in different angles) but I was wrong, I changed the motors and still angle is wrong, so it must be all mechanism sitting in different angles

I guess the location of red wire depends on connections in the motor?

Would 4th wire be in for dip mirrors?

Looks like they're working in opposite polarity (one of them sits upside down like C4A6 memory vs. non-memory mirrors?). These motors are not Audi specific - they're used on BMW, Opel and more too.
Memory/dip-downs has completely different motors:

So I can't modify my mirrors from A100 to fit S4, I could buy B5 A4 mirrors from RHD

She finally starts to look like a car Went over with some T-cut, then washed her, then a coat with Autoglym Resin Polish and sealed with Autoglym extra protection

I honestly think this is as good as it will get without starting to respray panels



I want to spray lower grills to match bonnet grill. Also want to respray front bumper (possibly rear one too) in coming days, as they are too far gone to polish them out.






I am thinking of renting garage up in Leeds if I manage to get a job, then I can respray wings too.

I've been thinking about doing DIY air suspension next summer, currently researching what's what.

Haven't done much lately. Been trying to sort out the boost problem, need to do a test drive see what I am getting and probably do another boost test. When I visited Newsh we found that on of the injectors were leaking, so as I had bought resto kit for injectors, I thought I'll do that





Used a screw to get the old filters out







Rocker cover gasket was leaking, so I bought that, and while I had the cover off, I polished the top bit and sprayed the rest of it black, but will probably polish whole cover at some point.





Still need to polish the manifold and coil cover.

Received cv boot kit today, as that broke and made a big mess, need to still do that till I go uni, and also tint rear windows

But now it's mosly finishing off small bits just to get her presentable when I go back to Uni, as I won't be able to do big jobs then. ADI is coming up, so need her looking good for that

Firat went over with wire bruah on angle grinder, just to get all the big stuff off. Then to get it smooth I used sanding disk on angle grinder. And then 240-600-800-1200-2000 grade sand paper and then metal polish.

But make sure you sanding block(i didn't) to get nice and even surface

I am genuinely considering selling it. It dies again, won't start.
