All honesty if its the loom and coils then Alex is your man for the coil conversion loom. Incredibly good value for money. I have one of his home made looms on my car and it was a bargain! If you have a friendly parts supplier the coils are quite cheap too... Way cheaer than going for an OEM replacement!

Coils are not at fault either, picked up a set from Newsh and same thing.

Driving up hill, boosts as it should but revs slowly dropping. As if you would take foot off the throttle leaving in gear.

Spark plugs are wet so fuel is being delivered, haven't checked the spark yet.

Mostly covers. didn't remove any sensors.

No fault codes. It cranks but doesn't fire. I managed to start it in the morning, but only cyl 1 and 2 were running, 3 4 5 nothing.

I did an output test, and all the solenoid valves worked fine.

The 2 white plugs should carry 12V to the coils, check there is 12V on all the pins on both plugs.

Are you using Vagcom to read the codes?
