I hope you have more luck with the a8 setup on your c4 than I did. I had a total of 5 of these servos and not one worked. Before you fit it suck on the vacume pipe with master cylinder fitted to see if servo holds vacume. None of mine did. I ended up fitting a c4 tdi vacume servo. Problems resolved.

          Hi.
Very good job. The car is the prettiest Audi for me (well, I preffer a sedan but) and your work is awesome. But the A5 rims are very ugly and the IC outside of the bumper...

PS: on your country isn't the MOT?
Here brake changes, IC changes, Bumper cuts and all the things are illegal and we must paid for them (and not all is possible to pay)

            Hello Gordon,
The rims are sold long time ago, avus are still on the car and will be for some time.Abouth the IC,i like it this way.It stands up in the crowd and looks more agresive(in my opinion)
We have year registration which are high for car's like this,i didnt have problems becose the IC dont stick out of the complet bumper so it can past like this(even the police is giving me sometime a hard time)

i remember someone locally has done the vacuum booster conversion.taken the booster from from a scrapped 2002 passat Tdi.the bolt pattern on the booster that being mounted on the firewall is diagonally with only 2 bolts same as on the A8's.only thing to be worried about is the brake reservoir cap clearance between the stock strut bar.I personally had done the A6 single diaphragm booster on my UrS6 before.Anyone knows if the A8's booster is 1.5 or dual diaphragm booster?if it's dual diaphragm,it would need to save more quids to complete the conversion.i had done the dual diaphragm booster on my Merc and been happy with it ever since.

                  back on booster conversion

Marko, here's what I just did

first let me tell you that screw on the strut is metric so you can't get the nut in any hardware store
so I took the end part (fork) from A8 booster, cut it and used the screw on part as extended nut
than I needed a part of the bolt for extending the strut ... bolt from b5 suspension came in handy
it ended up like this ... 230mm overall length

use both securing nuts to fix everything properly

than I grinded off those two bolts for fixing the booster

and overall it looks like this

put some self adhesive insulation on the bracket
I used one for doors/windows ... it's soft and can be compressed

putting dual diaphragm booster in is way easier than taking old one out

I still didn't go to Igor (RS200) to pick up master cylinder and tank to end DIY but I think you'll be able to figure it out from here
                  cheers

                        Marko,
You used the hair dryer to dry out the Porsche decal?

When I put "quattro" sticker on my calipers I put couple of clear coats to make sure it doesn't wear off.
