I wonder if they're made of steel or they've remanufactured them in something that doesn't rust.

What setup you have at the front, shocks/bushes?

For all 3 fuel lines it was 350 euros. But if you skip the carbon filter return line ut was only 100 euros. Those "kits" have different art nr.
Well i cant tell any differens with the new bushings yet because i need to drive a bit more first. But i can hear a little bit more noise from the drivetrain, nothing disturbing but i hear a differens.

So a few days ago the first test drive was made. Went good. But when i stopped at the gas station i saw something dripping from the car.. It was the fuel returnline that was leaking. I bought new pipes from Audi, was not so bad, like 100euro. I bought without the pipe for the active carbon filter as i dont use that any more and the price was 350Euro..

The new pipes that came with new mountings.

    Art nr:

Yesterday i was at the wheel shop and did a wheel alignment. Then i started to assemble my "new" head.
Mounted the lightweight lifters and the 7A camshafts, here is the head resting in the sunlight:

No i haven't, still runs on 98 octane. Yes, 1000cc injectors and a 044 pump, also changed the fpr to a 3 bar since the injectors only needed 3bars of fuelpressure as lowest.

Today i finished the brakeline and connected the brakes. Thought my exhaust was a little bit ugly to just mount back so i gave it some time with the grinder to give it some shine Next step is to testdrive and then go and do a wheel alignment.

So today i thought i would be able to start with the rear body work. But instead i did some sandblasting with the small brackets and stuff. After looking at the rear end i realized that i would be stupid if i didn't pull the fuel tank down. The tank it self had some corrosion, and i wouldn't get acces to everything when i paint, so i decided to pull that one out as well.

    Fuel tank down:

Now i'm only waiting for the paint and of course the time to clean everything and get it ready for paint. I wish my girfriend gave me moore time in the garage...
