Looking good Chris. Those lights were a good buy.
Have you got a piece of Samco for the MAF-Turbo? You don't want the dreaded collapsing intake hose problem.
I look forward to seeing it running soon.

Not got one of those hoses, think there about £150 for the intake hose.

Yeah, they totally transform the car, i love em.

Not as much as me mate, can wait to get it fired up, its been too long. Should be Awesome

Hi Chris, how’s the wiring coming along? I've been uming and aring over the wiring for my Scirocco 20VT conversion, I to have a later dbw 180bhp motor and in the end have decided to go with DTA standalone management using a cable actuated ABA throttle body amongst other alterations.
Presently having loads of fun fabricating my own mounts to mate the fettled 02J box to the car

A GT30R going dusty and plans for 350+ bhp and 800kg keeps me going!

                  Looks smart!

My brother has done pretty much the same, but with a 180bhp motor put in into a Mk2 Syncro. It's only running 2WD at the moment though (although he's fitted a 6-speed TT 4WD gearbox - 4WD coupling will come later). It's sonking on the track!! Some piccys here...

The car on track at Cadwell... well 3 wheels on track anyway ...

He's just about to start a similar job on my Syncro too. However, mine will be running the standard 5-speed gearbox for now, but it'll be running 4WD straight away. Can't wait... 'cos the standard 90bhp 1.8 carb. is doing my head in

It's geting the exhaust made today - took ages to get hold of a ko4 flange for the DP.

I expect CHris will have another loud car to show off tonight.

Like Doug said, been waiting for the Turbo flange coming. Had the exhaust system made the other day and it sounds great, just don't ask how much it cost

Took it for a spin too very quick and responsive with virtulally no lag and its not even mapped yet. Its going for the MOT monday/tuesday then hopefully i'll drive to Doug's and get it re-mapped. Can't wait. I'll post some pics of the exhast and the car finished with the wheels on tomorrow.

Its taken alot longer than i wanted it to but i've had loads on to be fair and still have. Its been worth the wait tho.

                        Cheers,

I'm not sure yet. I'm gonna take the Audi off the road soon and drive the Golf for a bit tho. I'll have to see what happens with jobs etc. I wanna keep it just for a laugh but its already cost me more than i wanted to spend. Guess thats what happens when the tuning bug bites

                            Cheers,

Where do i start, its been on the road for about 6 months now.
New I/C and boost piping fitted (even shorter intake route)
Solid front engine mount was fitted a couple of weeks ago. New front Bumper with projector fog lights, needs painting tho, G60 arches need fitting and a new front grill. Also needs new samco intake pipe and the remap finishing.
Chasing some 16v hubs so i can fit the S2 calipers and 280mm disc for some more stopping power.

                                Some pics to come
                                Cheers,
