    LOL.

Ask Kit he knows where it is.

500 is a 'sensible' figure and won't disappoint.

Yes, Will's great at keeping me posted, I'm so pleased I went with VRS! I know I keep saying that but hey...

They're going to run the engine in using Millers running in mineral oil on the dyno and then I imagine they'll get various power figures at various boost levels using pump gas and race fuel whilst fiddling with the MoTeC. I asked for an engine with lots of power and lots of torque, he said he could give me 700hp+ but I'd lose low down grunt and so I want a happy compromise - the best of both worlds, so I should likely be looking at around 500hp.

VRS are very good at keeping you updated.

Looking forward to the completed car is due course.

Don't advocate abusing it, especially right away, but would be cool to see what the bhp and torque figures are, and how it does on the 1/4 mile.

    Enjoy the ride.

If you ever bring it over here for a spin, we can look after you and act as your guide / mentor to make your visit memorable and as enjoyable as possible.

Illustrating the before and after machining:

I was going to suggest skimming them to drop the CR a bit

    These are the original rods:

They look skinny, like twigs in comparison.

The new ones are 'VRS H-beam' rods "...are strong as #%£!, and won't break." Apparently.

*edit: oh yeah, the piston 'heads' are stock, may require some skimming but yeah, original.
