thats an oil temp sensor so we can have a safegaurd in the MoTeC ecu for high oil temps it will reduce power so Charlie doesnt nail the engine lol

Remember OEM is a rigid pipe though, and it runs in the little recess in the head above the boss with the core plug in it.
I'm sure its fine if its behind the belt cover

there is only 1 place it can go and it fits fine

ive always ran them there as Audi ran them there. Never had an issue .

I would never run the water line to the turbo with a flexi pipe behind the belts.
