    Some rear subframe bushes:
Great project and a good work! Where you find rear subframe bushes? Are they urethane?

I very much doubt that's the finished article, whether he plans to modify the old gaiter or fabricate something else I don't know.

OH WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I totally forgot about that Trist, what a blast from the past, I recall nearly dying with laughter when you showed me the pic and recounted the anecdote.

There really is no accounting for taste!

Personally I'd want twin tail pipe's as per original and think they'd suit the car best, I reckon an oval would look okay as well if slightly squared and the size would have to be perfect to make it look right.

I can't understand why the guy who fabricated the exhaust, which is very well made, thought that tail pipe would be acceptable on such an expensive car/build.. Hell you can see the seam up the side of the pipe.

Really glad you've finally got a new damper sorted so there can be some progress.

I saw this behind Llyswen garage in 2005 - I asked in the shop about it - A guy asked if I wanted to buy it - I laughed. And asked why would you do such a thing? Then got told it was actually a 1.2 Nova - I mean, really!

Oh and I took the liberty of looking underneath - they were all plumbed in too

I'm inclined to agree, but we shall see. I think the end result will look cool, I mean look at that Honda above! If not it can always be changed...

IMHO oval looks nice on the RS4/RS6 because the bumper is sculpted to suit it; won't looks as nice in the RS2 orifice. Go with a twin pipe as nature intended

In that case......oval would look nice.

I'm not going twin pipes, so may try something more along these lines:

Failing that, something a little more subtle like a simple oval, like an RS6 has, only one of them...:
