Hmm, I'd like to say the end is in sight, and it is in the very final stages but I think I've said that so many times now no-one will believe me
Also Alex, I must extend my gratitude towards you as it was you who brought to my attention a catastrophic oversight that if neglected would have resulted in the whole project being lost and the car being sent to the scrapyard.

So after many months careful planning using hi tech laser scanning, CAD and complex mathematical calculations we were able to step in at the last minute...

...problem rectified, project saved!!
Also the rad is now properly mounted

Catch can made...

...and painted

With a little unashamed product placement

So yeah, I'm really hoping this will be done very soon. Will said he wanted to get it done by the end of the month and I'd like to believe that, oh how I would love to believe that, I just won't, not until I'm invited up for dyno fun time.Leave a comment:

Hopefully not, as I said I should get a call from Will tomorrow to let me know just what's left to do. He said last week that dyno time was approaching so I'm pretty excited about that.Leave a comment:

Thanks for the update.
Should be lovely to look at for all and to drive for you when it's done.
Not too long now in the overall scheme of things.

Ok, some Christmas updates, really not much but something to keep the dream alive...
Here we have a set of gauges that came out of Kit's S2:

As you can see he modified them to be angled towards the driver, a subtle but very effective feature. They, of course, will be cleaned up and painted but I'm very chuffed to have these as it saves Will having to modify a set I got especially for this, cheers Kit!:

The radiator, like many other things, has been blacked up like a brother:

Another shot of the harness frame/roll bar:

Some mess, that Will won't be happy I've posted up but it'll make the finished article all the more impressive when it's all cleaned up, especially when you see what's going to be there in it's place:

The alternator, another component that's been blacked up:

A heat shield, photographed so close up it's hard to tell where it actually is:

And another shot of the snug looking seats:

Merry Christmas everybody!!
