Without a middle box to take out the boom and lower the noise, it could annoy you / blow your cover.

With the engine, the suspension and brakes, you won't need a 'loud' exhaust to let anyone know how 'good' the car is, they'll soon 'appreciate' it when looking the rear of the car getting smaller.

Has to be rolled to look smart. Whether it's single or twin I've yet to decide.

As you can see it has a small middle box and a back box which I'm hoping will keep things quiet as that's what I asked for.

    Three's a charm.

No matter how much I sell the Noggy for it's unlikely to recoup the costs of Mental Wheels

Looks good to me Charlie. That back end shot looks the nuts. If you aint happy with the table pipe have it changed.

Love the Noggy. I had a look when I was down to collect my Dad's A6 the other week.

    SPY!!! Arrest him!!!

Badger! That's it! Yes I will be changing the tailpipe, there is no doubt about that. That bean can looks cheap. If it had been rolled in I may have let it go... may!

Ages ago when I was chatting to him in his reception I saw he had a black c/f twin tailpipe in a glass cabinet which I thought looked the nuts, and I think it would contrast well against the dark ragusa. If I can get that in squared oval then I might be interested... it would at least fit the bumper moulding better than a single round.

Anyway, we shall see, no decisions have been made yet...

...and yeah, the Noggy's a bit rough around the edges but as I've said it has potential and if it runs and has an MOT - it's an RS2, can't complain about that, even if it is LHD!

Pound says that it's going to be loud.

    Haha.

You would not be able to measure a difference in flow between the two. Get it changed for how you want it

Exhaust looks really nice indeed except for what already has been said. But will it not be 'boomy' while driving?

I told Will I wanted twins and he said it'd perform better with a single 3". I was going to settle for a squared oval shape, possibly black carbon fibre. But the fact it came back round and cut, not even rolled, I didn't like it. I'll see what my options are when I go see him Tuesday, depending if the weather's good or not.

*edit: I just added a couple more pics of the exhaust welds

There's no doubt it's beautifully made, Will designed it but got someone else to put it together, can't remember who or why cos Will's got skillz when it comes to welding.

I'd go one into two for the tail pipe with 2 pipes as big as you can fit in the bumper cutout.

Either that or just slash cut the big round one, it would look much better. I went for oval on my coupe and never really been happy, would prefer twin slash cuts.

Great looking exhaust mate, looks really nicely made. Must admit I agree with Az, I would sacrifice 2 or 3 for the nicer OEM style twin pipes
So this must be nearly ready for mapping now surely? Its only 6 months late
