                        I know the one you mean and it's probably in better condition than the one that's the subject of this thread, however it's been a long time since I've seen it. Maybe it's worth you bagging it and getting it in the dry before it decays any further?

                        £8K for that car seems nut! As I said before I could understand someone paying that much, if not considerably more, if it were a SQ but for a UR albeit one with an interesting history it does appear to be highly over the odds.

                        I guess if you own a body shop and have a couple of scrap UR's sitting about it could be a viable project, without seeing it in the flesh on a ramp it's hard to say just how much work is involved. It's going to be A LOT though!

                        A proper restoration would also mean reverting to LHD as the conversion ruin's the car IMO.

                        I wouldn't be at all surprised to see it re-listed within a week.

                            Not sure Andy, haven't really been keeping an eye on that market, I'm guessing good one's start at £20K.
