You can change the style the forum displays by selecting your preferred style at the bottom left of the site.
We have made an enhancement so that old threads should now link from search results to the correct thread. This is not yet in place for single post links
So to sum up, when the wires appear correct on both:
OE- zero with key on, pegged above 5 when running
FAE- slightly above zero with key on, pegged above 5 with autocheck warning
Ah jeez. I have a confusing update.
OE- zero with key on, pegged above 5 when running but now very randomly sounds the oil buzzer.
FAE- now AT zero with key on, stays at zero while running regardless of load or rpm lol
Pretty strange, looks like you have a bad FAE sender and possibly also a dodgy connection in the loom somewhere. Have you checked the crimps at the sender end for tightness and or corrosion? Don't know if you're on original loom or custom. I would be tempted to cut the old 1/4" Amp connectors off and crimp on new ones. You need the correct crimps and tool though, the things with the coloured plastic sleeves are hopeless
